Postdoctoral/Research Fellow
The Australian National University (ANU) is offering three full-time, fixed-term academic positions for the project "Analytics for the Australian Grains Industry" (AAGI) within the Biological Data Science Institute (BDSI). The positions focus on three research areas: statistical design and modeling, bioinformatics and molecular phenotyping, and machine learning and image analytics. Successful candidates must have a PhD (or be near completion) and experience in data science, machine learning, bioinformatics, statistics, or related fields, with strong programming skills and experience working with real data.
The salary range is $85,010 to $131,227 per annum, plus 17% superannuation, and the contract lasts up to December 2027. Applicants for the Research Fellow (Academic Level B) role should demonstrate a vision for innovative research in the relevant fields. Desirable experience includes mixed models, experimental design, image analytics, and biological/agricultural sciences.
