BDSI Workshop: Data Wrangling and Visualisation with R

The workshop aims to teach data wrangling and visualisation with R using the Tidyverse paradigm. Tidyverse is a popular collection of open-source packages that share an underlying design philosophy, grammar and data structure. This workshop is tailored for beginners in the Tidyverse, specifically those with minimal or no exposure to the dplyr, tidyr and ggplot2 packages. A basic understanding of R is assumed, and registrants will have access to introductory videos in R with assumption that they will watch it before attendance.

The workshop is a total of 6 hours (in-person only delivery) on the dates and times specified below.

  • Tue 23 July 2024 1-2pm
  • Fri 26 July 2024 12-2pm
  • Tue 30 July 2024 1-2pm
  • Fri 2 Aug 2024 12-2pm.

The expression of interest (EOI) is now open for ANU staff and students. The EOI is not a guarantee of registration. We have limited space and will contact you separately to confirm registration by Friday 19th July 2024. Preference is given to those who are ANU Master or Honours students. Please only submit your EOI if you can attend the full workshop.
